There are several books on the market which help to explain the career of Lyndon Baines Johnson, but this is certainly one of the better biographies: ![]() This book goes into some detail about the political rise of LBJ, and it also provides background information about the State of Texas, which is large enough to twice absorb the island land mass of Great Britain. It helps to explain why LBJ was made famous by radio, and how his own wealth became tied to that medium. In view of the current scandal over the last U.S. election of 2020, it also explains how ballot box stuffing and vote rigging was essential to the promotion of LBJ on to the national, and then international stage of world affairs.
