The reason why our Timeline ends in 1968, is because that is when the story of Radio Caroline finally dribbled to its conclusion.
It was over. Now the troll-anoraks would like everyone to believe that it continued through to the present day by involving Ronan O'Rahilly in some form of messianic role, which at one time did create its own New Age religious theme of 'Loving Awareness'. But it was just a silly phase by a lot of dreamers who have continued on into old age by prattling on about a tiny community radio station licensed by Ofcom, as if it is related to events that took place in the Sixties, which it is not. They have even split their interests to include a camp that recycles old jingles and old records which they call 'Flashback'. It is more akin to the manifestation of senility than anything else. In the Sixties there was a very deep and dark geopolitical story that was underwriting the station called Radio Caroline, and its imitators than sprang up all around it. But the troll-anoraks of today are not exploring that story, because Ronan O'Rahilly was hired as a "useful fool" to spread misinformation, and not to act as an honest spokesman who told everyone what was really going on. We are not too sure at this stage how much Ronan O'Rahilly really knew. One thing is sure, and that is that his scriptwriter Ian Cowper Ross really did know a lot more than he has ever let on, and we do know what the basics are of what he was trying to conceal about himself, and about Radio Caroline. However, it remains a puzzle as to why these aging troll-anoraks are so concerned with trying to preserve a past that never happened. Rusling's motives are clear: self-service using the troll-anoraks as his basic clientele. But the music being played by the troll-anoraks today is not some kind of political or religious underground music forbidden on the licensed airwaves, which they also occupy. If it was then the troll-anoraks would not have a tiny license. Eventually this aging group will all die off and with them will pass anyone who remembers anything about what they were trying to create from daydreams. But the story of Aodogán O'Rahilly and his company called Weatherwell Ltd., well they are a different matter entirely, because following their story is one way that we have been able to use in order to peer behind the curtain of obfuscation, and thus we have been able to discern what was really going on! What was going on? Well, another major event that the troll-anoraks seem to ignore is a date: November 22, 1963, and that date is smack-dab in the middle of the introduction to the story of Radio Caroline. That date refers to a murder in Dallas, Texas, and so does the location of the transmitter company that supplied Radio Caroline North, as well as Radio Caroline South, which had been the Dallas owned station called Radio Nord; which became Radio Atlanta, before becoming Radio Caroline South. Ronan O'Rahilly had a lot to say about the Kennedy brothers who were both murdered, one of them in Dallas, Texas. But Ronan did his best to avoid drawing attention to their murders and instead he redirected attention to the 5 years old daughter of the murdered John F. Kennedy, and then fabricated yet another lie. The details involved with the assassination stories of President John F. Kennedy and his nepotistic brother Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy, are central to this story! Take a look at our Timeline page which is continually expanding, because in time, that is where the real story will become a little clearer to you as a reader.
