As readers know, this work in progress is the achievement of three people, and we refer to them as 'The Trio' - which is why there is a moderator as well. But it is not the product of "Mervyn Hagger", even though detractors (like Bob Meade) who support the fraudulent operation claiming to be a lineal descendant of Radio Caroline which existed between 1964 and 1967, like to say that it is.
The operation that Bob Meade is supporting is totally unrelated to the original, and the ship mv Ross Revenge (now a floating hulk), was not one of the three ships that provided bases for the transmitters and studios of Radio Caroline between 1964 and 1967, before the two stations were finally snuffed out on March 6, 1968 - forever! Our detractors hide behind various names, and some of them are really silly. But Bob Meade prefers "Freddie Archer" because he once operated a land-based shortwave 'pirate' station in the Nineteen Seventies that he called 'Radio Caroline'. Now he supports the attempt to disguise a mere 'tribute' station calling itself 'Radio Caroline', which its main operators proclaim is in some way attached to the original authentic stations. That of course is a fraud, and their fraud connects to filing false information with Companies House and attempting to turn the tribute station into a financial begging bowl by linking it to Radio Caroline from 1964 to 1967. We will not be silent when smears are hurled our way in an attempt to prevent the true story from being told - at last. This includes anyone else attempting to plagiarize our work (like Paul Rusling), and it also includes 'attack' and smear posts, similar to the one illustrated that was written by Bob Meade under the byline of "Freddy Archer". Everyone attempting to follow suit should heed this warning. Comments are closed.
